Founded in 2018,
on a quiet block in Venice.
Maya and a small circle of teachers opened Solstice because the studios they were teaching in had started to feel like fitness clubs. Too loud, too crowded, too rushed. We wanted somewhere quiet. Somewhere where the practice could breathe.
What we believe
- Small rooms make better teachers.
Capping classes means we can actually see — and adjust — every student.
- Movement is not the point.
It's a doorway. We teach asana because it builds the attention you need for everything else.
- Lineage matters.
Our teachers train in traditional schools and bring that depth into every class.
